TeamGroup Unveils MP44L M.2 Solid State Drives with Graphene Heatsink Sticker

TeamGroup announced the MP44L M.2 SSD solid-state drives that use the PCIe 4.0 interface to communicate with a computer. Products received a unique cooling technology called Heat Dissipating Graphene SSD Label.

A heat-dissipating graphene sticker was used, consisting of heat-conducting materials with a total thickness of less than 1 mm. The sticker adheres tightly to the drive, which greatly improves the efficiency of heat dissipation. The operating temperature range is from 0 to plus 70 degrees Celsius.

Products are made in accordance with the NVMe 1.4 specification. The family includes models with a capacity of 250 and 500 GB, as well as 1 and 2 TB. Data reading speed varies from 4650 to 5000 MB / s, write speed – from 1900 to 4500 MB / s. The IOPS (input/output operations per second) reaches 525K for random reads and 550K for random writes.

The LDPC (Low Density Parity Check Code) technology is mentioned, which is responsible for ensuring accuracy in data transmission. The manufacturer’s warranty is five years.

The 250 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB versions will cost $50, $80, $136, and $288, respectively. Sales will start at the end of August.
